About us
Bárbara Yamila Alvarez, Ph.D., RN — founder of INESA Texas

Our mission
I am Bárbara Álvarez, founder and instructor of INESA’s Home-Based Child Care Entrepreneurship program. Our goal is to close the child care gap in metro Houston and help clients achieve self-sufficiency and a better quality of life.
We train refugees, immigrants, and other underserved people in low- to moderate-income communities to become licensed family child care providers.
Who is Bárbara
I am a specialist with more than 10 years training childcare business owners, focused on early childhood trends and early stimulation. I have supported openings in homes and centers, with a proven record of more than 100 licenses in Houston, Texas.
I am an accredited trainer in the TECPDS system, which allows me to deliver high-quality training for the growth and success of childcare businesses. I have taught small groups and large specialized conferences.
