1. Who we are
INESA Texas — Home-Based Child Care Entrepreneurship (“INESA,” “we”) operates https://inesa.institute and the INESA Academy platform. Place of operation: Houston metropolitan area, Texas, United States. Founder and instructor: Bárbara Yamila Alvarez, Ph.D., RN. Privacy contact: yamilaec{'@'}yahoo.com · phone (832) 871-1333.
2. Scope
This policy covers the public website, the contact form, cookies, and, if you register, INESA Academy (accounts, course progress, and training materials). It does not cover third-party sites we link to (social networks, graduate childcares, Zeroˣ Digit, NAVCO Solutions, or others).
3. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process: (a) contact data you submit — name, email, phone if you include it, and message content; (b) Academy account data — email, name, role, progress, assessment answers, and access logs; (c) technical data — approximate IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, language, and server logs; (d) cookies or similar identifiers if analytics are enabled. We do not intentionally request sensitive health, immigration, or child criminal-history data, or official ID documents, through the public form. Do not send that information through the site.
4. How we obtain it
The contact form opens a message in your email app addressed to yamilaec{'@'}yahoo.com. That send goes through your mail provider and Yahoo. If you use Academy, account data is stored in our training systems. Website hosting may be provided by infrastructure vendors (for example Vercel). If Google Analytics 4 is enabled, Google may process aggregated usage data.
5. How we use it
We use data to: answer inquiries and enrollment requests; deliver and administer training; share cohort dates; protect the site from abuse or fraud; measure visits in aggregate; and meet legal, accounting, or security duties. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Legal bases
As applicable: your consent (the form and non-essential cookies); performance of a contract or pre-contract steps (enrollment and Academy); our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the site; and compliance with law. California residents may exercise CPRA rights of access, correction, and deletion. Where GDPR applies, you may also object, restrict processing, request portability, or withdraw consent.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies or storage for site language. If configured, Google Analytics 4 measures page views, device, and approximate location. You may block non-essential cookies in your browser. The site can function without analytics.
8. Recipients and processors
The following may access data only as needed: the founder and authorized INESA staff; the hosting provider; Google (if analytics are on); the email providers you and we use for the contact message; and authorities if required by law. Partners Zeroˣ Digit (website) and NAVCO Solutions (notary) are independent businesses. We do not transfer your contact-form data to them unless you ask us in writing.
9. Retention
We keep inquiries as long as needed to respond, plus a reasonable archive period (at most 24 months, unless law or an active training relationship requires longer). Academy accounts are kept while active and for an additional period for academic or security records. You may request earlier deletion at yamilaec{'@'}yahoo.com.
10. Security
We use HTTPS, security headers, Academy access controls, and data minimization. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your Academy password confidential.
11. Children
This site and Academy are for adults (18 or older) seeking professional training to operate a childcare. They are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child sent us data, write to us so we can delete it.
12. Transfers
Data is processed primarily in the United States. If you write from another country, you understand your data may be transferred to the U.S., where privacy laws may differ.
13. How to exercise your rights
Email yamilaec{'@'}yahoo.com with the subject “Privacy,” your name, and what you request (access, correction, or deletion). We may need to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also complain to your data-protection authority.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the current version appears at the top. Continued use of the site after a reasonable change is acceptance of the posted version.
